Covid-19 Information

YOUR APPOINTMENT:

TELEHEALTH: Some appointments can still be conducted via telehealth.. These may include but are not limited to acute visits, lab reviews, and other care management follow-ups.  Please understand insurance may not cover these visits after the end of the Public Health Emergency which ends May 11, 2023.  You will need to reach out to your insurance company to determine coverage prior to your telemedicine appointment as we are unable to provide that information for you.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT: Call us prior to your appointment if you are symptomatic or have been exposed to anyone that you know is symptomatic or positive with COVID.  Your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

UPON YOUR ARRIVAL: DO NOT come inside if you are sick, even if you have tested negative for COVID (sick symptoms include but are NOT limited to: common cold symptoms, chest congestion, nasal congestion, sneezing, cough, fever, body aches, chills, headache, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea).  DO call us to let us know you are here and wear your face covering. Please be patient. It may be a few minutes before a staff member will be able to come take your temperature and ask you screening questions.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

Consistent with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, Brunswick Family Medicine will require all individuals who visit the office to wear a cloth face covering during times of moderate or high community transmission. Visitors and patients who arrive for their appointment without a face covering or mask will be provided with one. If masks are refused, a visit will be converted to a telehealth appointment if possible. If not, the appointment will need to be rescheduled.  Visitors who refuse to comply with requirements will not be allowed to enter the facility.

Please refer to this link to determine Brunswick County's community transmission rates: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-da...

Our office reserves the right to adjust our mask policy at any time.  Please be flexible and cooperative at the time of your appointment.
